Privacy Policy

Mostić translates spoken and typed conversation between Serbian and English and says the translation out loud. This policy explains what information the app uses, where it goes, and the choices you have. Mostić is made by SHARP MEMORIES LLC.
What leaves your phone
- Your voice, only while a talk button is on. The audio is streamed to Microsoft Azure AI Speech, which turns it into text. Nothing is recorded when no talk button is on.
- The text to translate, with the last few messages for context, is sent to Anthropic (Claude) to be translated.
- The translated text is sent to Microsoft Azure AI Speech to be turned into a spoken voice.
- When two phones are connected, each finished message passes from one phone to the other through our server on Cloudflare. It is not saved there.
- Usage totals, such as minutes of listening and the number of translations each month, are kept on our server so we can stay within our service limits. They contain no words, voices or names.
These providers process the data only to provide the service. Their policies: Microsoft, Anthropic, Cloudflare.
What stays on your phone
Your conversation history, saved phrases, name and settings are stored only on your phone. You can clear the conversation at any time in Settings, or remove everything by deleting the app.
What we don't do
There are no accounts, ads, analytics or tracking. We don't sell or share your information, and we don't use it for anything other than translating your conversation.
Microphone
The app asks for microphone access the first time you tap a talk button. You can turn it off at any time in your phone's settings; you can still type instead.
Children
Mostić is meant to be set up by an adult for family conversations. It is not directed at children.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
